ALTIMETER
Altimeter gauge that is driven by 4 28BYJ-48 bi-polar stepper motors. 3/4 steppers operate the needles while the 4th stepper operates the baro. Steppers are powered by 5V and require A3769 stepper controller driver for each steper (not included).
Baro receives input from simulator and baro setting controlled by rotary encoder.Push button on ecoder contols reset/zero calibration of instrument. Zero position of steppers controled by IR Positioning Sensors.
Instrument is backlight by 12V dimmable led.
Note: Due to steppmotor rotation speed limitation when rate of climb/descend exceed 2000ft/min 100ft needle movement can sometimes be erratical. For higher vertical speeds recommend use of digital altemeter oprtion.
